Nauman picked up a five-wicket haul as Pakistan closed in on their second innings victory of the tour.

34-year old spinner has been an impressive addition to the Pakistan Test squad as he has proved his worth with both bat and ball. He scored a magnificent 97 in the first innings, helping Pakistan post a mammoth total on the board. He then returned to torment the Zimbabwean batsmen with the ball in his hand.

Nauman made his Test debut this year at the age of 34. While many experts questioned his inclusion in the squad due to his age, Nauman remained firm and replied to the critics with his performances on the pitch.

Nauman said that he never lost hope of putting on the national jersey as he kept on performing at a high level in the domestic circuit and was rewarded for his hard work by being called up in the Test series against South Africa earlier this year.

Just within the first few months of his international career, he has already gone on to take 16 wickets at an average of  19.81, including two five-wicket hauls, in 4 matches. Nauman will be hoping that his recent impressive performances will help him be a regular in the Test side for a few more years.
