Former Australian leg-spinner, Shane Warne, has included legendary left-arm pace bowler, Wasim Akram, in his list of top 10 fast bowlers of all time.
The 55-year old was one of the most feared fast bowlers of his time and had an immaculate career as he finished as the leading wicket-taker for Pakistan in Tests and ODIs. Wasim picked 414Â wickets at an average of 23.62 in 104 Test matches and 502 wickets at an average of 23.52 in 356 ODI matches.
Warne took to Twitter to reveal his top 10 all-time pacers in the history of the game and also asked the cricketing fraternity to name their lists as well.

Surprisingly, Akram was the only Pakistani fast bowler included in Warne’s list as legendary pacers while Waqar Younis and Imran Khan were left out. The list included three pacers each from Australia and West Indies and one each from South Africa, New Zealand, and England.
Warne’s top ten fast bowlers of all time included Dennis Lillee, Wasim Akram, Malcolm Marshall, Glenn McGrath, Curtly Ambrose, Dale Steyn, Richard Hadlee, Jeff Thomson, Michael Holding, and James Anderson. He added that the list is in no particular order.
