According to various reports, major sports TV broadcasters are demanding record fees for airing advertisements in the highly-anticipated match between Pakistan and India in the upcoming 2021 T20 World Cup.
The reports revealed that the broadcasters are demanding a sum between Rs. 2.5 to 3 million to air a 10-second advertisement between the match. This is said to be the highest compensation in history for a 10-second advertisement.
Historically, Pakistan’s clashes against India are the most-watched cricket matches in the history of the sport, and the upcoming T20 World Cup encounter between the two teams is expected to be the most-watched cricket match since the invention of the sport.
