Former Pakistan wicket-keeper, Rashid Latif, has revealed that left-handed opener, Fakhar Zaman, may miss the upcoming T20I series against England as well as the T20 World Cup in Australia due to a knee injury.
Speaking on his YouTube Channel “Caught Behind” with Nauman Niaz, Rashid Latif revealed that Fakhar has suffered a similar injury to Shaheen and may need to be in rehab for a month or more than six weeks.
Pakistani players have been facing fitness issues, as the team’s key pacers, Shaheen Shah and Mohammad Wasim Jr. were unable to compete in the Asia Cup 2022, and their participation in the England series is also in doubt.

Fakhar Zaman had a poor show in the recently concluded Asia Cup where he scored 96 runs in six matches at an average of 16.00 and a strike rate of 103.23. He was bowled out on duck in the final against Sri Lanka.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is likely to announce the squad for the upcoming T20I series Against England and the T20 World Cup. The Men in Green will play seven-match T20I series against England from September 20.
The Babar Azam-led side has a very busy schedule in the shortest format of cricket as they will tour New Zealand for the tri-series featuring Bangladesh and New Zealand before the T20 World Cup 2022.
