Former Pakistan pacer Umar Gul revealed Babar Azam’s captaincy tactics and his attitude towards his teammates on the field.
During a discussion about the Pakistan team’s performance against Afghanistan on a local sports show, Umar Gul stated that when he was with the Pakistan team, he observed that Babar had a strict attitude towards Shadab and Rizwan.
Umar Gul says he was with team Pakistan for one series and noticed Shadab and Rizwan got told off by Babar for speaking to bowlers maybe that's why you don't see them advising or encouraging bowlers pic.twitter.com/OIWq0iPA0m

Umar Gul said, “When I was with the Pakistan team for one series, I noticed Shadab and Rizwan got told off by Babar for speaking to bowlers.”
He added, “Maybe that’s why you don’t see them advising or encouraging bowlers.”
It should be noted that it was the first time the Green Shirts lost to Afghanistan in ODIs during a World Cup. The Pakistan team didn’t bowl well and couldn’t defend the 283-run target.
The heartbreaking loss has left Pakistani fans and former cricketers deeply disappointed. Earlier, Wasim Akram criticized the Pakistan team for their poor performance.
The Green Shirts now must win all their remaining matches to qualify for the semi-finals. Their next game is against South Africa on October 27, which will be even tougher for the Pakistan team.
