ECC Approves Supplementary Grant of Rs. 20 Billion for Operation Azm-e-Istehkam

Federal Minister for Finance & Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb chaired a meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet at the Finance Division on Thursday.

The ECC approved a technical supplementary grant (TSG) of Rs. 20 billion as a special allocation for Operation Azm-e-Istehkam during the fiscal year 2024-25 (FY25)

The committee considered and approved a technical supplementary grant (TSG) of Rs. 276.250 million in favor of the Ministry of Interior to HQ Frontier Corps KP(N) for Project Implementation Letters (PILs).

Another TSG of Rs. 1951.995 million on account of payment of security charges – Reko Diq Project to Frontier Corps Balochistan (South) was also approved.

The meeting was attended by the Minister for Industries & Production, Minister for Commerce, Minister for Privatization, Minister for Planning, Minister for Economic Affairs, Minister for Petroleum, Minister for Power, Dy Chairman Planning Commission, Federal Secretaries, and other senior officials of the relevant ministries.

What type of joke is going on with our economy?. Can we afford any such adventure?. 20 Billion rupees is a big amount for a country like ours.

  • 20 billion supplementary grant to kill own people? If not own people, what for? It is being claimed for a long time now that Terrorism has been eliminated in Pakistan.
