Oppo Find X8 Hands-On Leak Shows iPhone’s Dynamic Island

Oppo’s flagship phone, the Find X8, is coming out in October. We now have hands-on photos of a live Find X8, although it’s hidden under a big case to obscure its features.

The Find X8 will have a regular-looking punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, which will extend to show information at a glance similar to the iPhone’s Dynamic Island. This implementation makes the Dynamic Island less of an intrusive feature thanks to its compact size.

Here is what it will look like.

It’s also rumored to copy the camera controls from the iPhone 16, likely with a side button that gives you quick access to camera features. The Find X8 will have a big, flat screen and will use the flagship grade Dimensity 9400 SoC, which is not official yet. The screen should be sized somewhere between 6.5 to 6.7 inches with a resolution of 1256 x 2760 pixels.

The tipster who leaked these photos, Digital Chat Station, also talked about improvements to Oppo’s AI assistant, which will now let you swipe between different pages.

The cameras will be a 50MP main camera, a 50MP wide-angle camera, and a 3x zoom camera. The phone will come in black, white, blue, and pink. The battery should be a massive 5,600 mAh unit with 100W wired charging for extremely quick top-ups.

It is unclear if the Oppo Find X8 series will ever arrive in the global market and there has been no official word from Oppo.
