The Champions One-Day cup commenced yesterday as Mohammad Rizwan’s UMT Markhors convincingly defeated Shadab Khan’s Panthers in a one-sided encounter.
The tournament started off on the right foot as the Faisalabad Cricket Stadium was filled with passionate fans as they witnessed the return of cricket in their hometown.
The second match of the tournament is expected to be a high-octane clash as Shaheen Afridi’s Lions take on Mohammad Haris’ Stallions. Players such as Babar Azam, Shan Masood, Abdullah Shafique and plenty more Pakistan stars are set to take part in it.
The match is set to commence today at 3:00 pm.
Matches will be aired on television channels A Sports HD, GEO Super, and PTV Sports. For digital viewers, Tamasha, Tapmad, and Myco will stream the games live. Cricket fans in North America will be able to watch the action on Willow TV.
