Panthers’ Key Players Set to Return After illness Against Stallions

In the ongoing Champions One-Day Cup in Faisalabad, the Panthers have faced a setback after captain Shadab Khan and bowler Usama Mir were sidelined due to fever in the previous match.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that both players underwent routine medical checkups and are now much better.

“The health conditions of both players are much better,” stated a PCB spokesperson, providing relief to fans and teammates alike.

Despite their brief absence, both players have made significant contributions to the tournament. Usama Mir has been impressive with the ball, claiming five wickets in three matches.

Meanwhile, Shadab Khan has showcased his all-round capabilities, scoring 106 runs and taking four wickets, bouncing back strongly after the T20 World Cup.

The Panthers are set to face the Stallions on September 21, and the return of their key players is eagerly anticipated. The team hopes to continue their strong performance in the tournament with Shadab and Mir back in action.

So far, in this tournament, the Panthers have two matches and lost one in the competition which suggests that Shadab Khan’s men have made a strong start to the campaign.
