Former Federal Minister Announces Reward for Shahzaib Rindh

MMA Star Shahzaib “King Khan” Rindh secured the Karate Combat Interim Lightweight Championship title last week after defeating Brazilian opponent Bruno Assis by TKO. As a result, he became the first Pakistani ever to be a champion in the promotion.

Following this remarkable achievement, Shahzaib Rindh recently met with former Federal Minister Sardar Yar Mohammad Rind in Islamabad, where the former minister congratulated the newly crowned champion on his success and praised him for elevating Pakistan’s name in the international community.

The former Federal Minister further announced that he would be giving 25 acres of land and Rs 1 lac as a reward to the national hero.

Upon speaking to the media, the former minister stated that he was saddened by how the national hero was received on his arrival in Islamabad, raising the question: “Where are the sports ministries of Pakistan and Balochistan?”

Furthermore, the former minister stated,

I was very happy for Shahzaib’s victory, it felt like my own son had won. I have supported the youth in the past and will continue to do so in the future Shahzaib Rindh stated that the former minister has always supported him.

“I worked very hard to win the title. My wish is to continue to uplift the country,” the champion added.

Last week, Shahzaib Rind clinched the Karate Combat KC-49 Championship in Singapore, defeating Brazilian opponent, Luiz Victor Rocha, to win the World Karate Combat Light Heavyweight Championship title.
