Pep Guardiola Confirms Star Midfielder Has Been Ruled Out for the Season

Manchester City faces a significant setback as their manager Pep Guardiola confirmed that their star midfielder Rodri is sidelined for the remainder of the season due to a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament.

Manager Pep Guardiola confirmed the news on Friday, following Rodri’s surgery earlier that day. “Surgery was successful this morning, ACL, and next season he will be here. This season is over.” Guardiola stated.

The injury occurred during City’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal in the Premier League, where Rodri injured his right knee.
