Honoring Pakistan’s Cricket Icons

In a move that bridges past glory with future aspirations, National Stadium is renaming several enclosures to honor Pakistan’s cricketing legends as reported by Faizan Lakhani. Among the changes:

  • The Majid Khan Enclosure will now carry the name of PCB Hall of Famer Younis Khan.
  • The iconic Quaid Enclosure will pay tribute to Shahid Afridi.
  • The Zaheer Abbas Enclosure of the Karachi Stadium will be renamed after Nazar Mohammad.

Additionally, two new VVIP Patron Enclosures are being introduced, with Zaheer Abbas and Majid Khan receiving well-deserved recognition. These changes not only highlight the country’s cricketing heritage but also inspire the next generation of players and fans.
