Weather experts have cautioned that the intense heat may pose health risks, especially for outdoor workers, children, and the elderly. The public is urged to stay hydrated, avoid sun exposure between 11 am and 4 pm, and take all necessary precautions.

In Karachi, temperatures are expected to remain hot and dry on Monday, followed by hot and humid conditions on Tuesday and Wednesday. The city’s maximum temperature could reach 38°C, with humidity levels climbing to 90%, increasing the discomfort index.

Meanwhile, areas in southern Sindh, including Thatta, Sujawal, Badin, Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, and Tharparkar, may also experience occasional gusty winds during this period. The PMD has advised residents to take the heatwave warning seriously and follow safety guidelines to avoid heat-related illnesses.
