With tensions high between Pakistan and India once again, India has taken the step to ban the live streaming of Pakistan Super League (PSL 2025) in the country.

As tensions escalate, FanCode’s decision to pull PSL coverage in India is being viewed as a direct consequence of the deteriorating diplomatic climate between the two nations.
While no official statement from FanCode has been made public at the time of writing, multiple outlets have confirmed that PSL coverage on the platform will be halted as of April 24.
PSL 2025, the tenth edition of Pakistan’s flagship T20 league, began on April 11 and is scheduled to run until May 18. Thirteen matches have been played so far, with Indian viewers able to access the tournament live through FanCode prior to the suspension.
With no alternative streaming partner announced in India, fans in the country will be unable to follow the remainder of the tournament via official platforms.
Sony Sports Network, which owns the television broadcasting rights for the PSL in India, has yet to issue a statement but is expected to follow suit.
There have also been calls from former Indian cricketers to suspend all sporting ties with Pakistan, putting the upcoming Women’s ODI World Cup under the spotlight once more.

For the PSL, a tournament that has steadily built a following outside Pakistan, the absence of digital visibility in a major market like India presents a fresh challenge.
