Several Grade 1-15 Government Jobs Announced

The Balochistan Cabinet has authorized the advertisement of vacant government positions ranging from grades 1 to 15, aiming to bolster employment opportunities within the province.

Additionally, the cabinet has decided to promptly release current wheat stocks into the open market to ensure a consistent supply of this essential food staple. However, it opted against further procurement at this time to maintain existing reserves.

Furthermore, the cabinet allocated Rs. 140 million for the Quetta Safe City Project and directed authorities to complete it by June. Chaired by Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the cabinet meeting, held at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, addressed various national and provincial issues and endorsed several key decisions.

At the outset, the cabinet strongly denounced India’s accusations against Pakistan in the aftermath of the Pahalgam incident. Ministers expressed disappointment over India’s confrontational stance despite Pakistan’s offer of transparent investigations, warning of potential threats to regional stability.

The cabinet also conveyed condolences to the families affected by the tragic Nushki incident and commended the timely response of health and rescue services during relief operations.

To combat smuggling across the province, the cabinet pledged immediate action and ordered a thorough inquiry into the Nushki incident. It also approved numerous legal and administrative reforms, including the establishment of a special court to safeguard overseas Pakistanis’ property, amendments to the Anti-Terrorism Act, and the establishment of a Center of Excellence for Countering Extremism.

Further reforms encompassed enhancements to civil servants’ and employees’ benefits policies. In terms of environmental protection, the cabinet endorsed new regulations, including a Ship Recycling Law, measures to eliminate bonded labor, and protections for the rights of persons with disabilities.
