Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz announced on Wednesday that all educational institutions across Punjab will remain closed today in the interest of public safety.
In a brief statement, the Chief Minister said the decision was made as a precautionary measure to ensure the protection of students, teachers, and staff amid the current situation.
“The safety of our people is our top priority,” said CM Maryam Nawaz, adding that further decisions will be made based on updates from law enforcement and security agencies.
Parents and students are advised to stay tuned to official channels for further announcements.
