Overseas Pakistanis traveling through Lahore can now get their international driving licenses directly at the airport, thanks to a new facility introduced by the Lahore Traffic Police.
A self-service traffic kiosk will soon be installed at the departure lounge of Allama Iqbal International Airport. According to traffic officials, travelers will only need to present their visa and valid local driving license to receive an international license on the spot. A printed copy of the license will be issued immediately.
The kiosk will also offer services for renewing learner permits, local driving licenses, and international licenses. Available 24/7, the digital facility is designed to provide round-the-clock convenience.
Officials further announced that the number of traffic kiosks in the city will increase to 10 by the end of this month. There are also plans to expand the network to 100 kiosks across Lahore during the next fiscal year.
