Murree GT Road Closed for All Traffic

Murree’s GT Road has been closed to all traffic following a landslide in the Salgran area. Deputy Commissioner Murree, Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi, and District Police Officer Asif Amin Awan narrowly avoided a serious accident during their visit to inspect the affected site.

As the officials arrived at the scene, large rocks and boulders began to slide. The DPO’s vehicle was nearly struck by a massive rock, but fortunately, no one inside was harmed.

However, Deputy Commissioner Shirazi sustained a foot fracture after being hit by a stone and is being transferred to THQ Hospital for treatment.
