Capital Smart Motors has announced it will begin accepting pre-bookings for the Dongfeng Forthing Friday REEV in Pakistan starting August 20, 2025. The Forthing Friday is a Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV), offering a combination of electric efficiency and petrol-powered reliability.

The Forthing Friday is equipped with a 31.9 kWh battery and a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, producing 204 horsepower and 340 Nm of torque.
According to the company, this hybrid setup enables a total range of up to 1,150 kilometers on a full charge and fuel tank. It also claims an impressive fuel average of 61 km/l, though this figure is based on optimal driving conditions.
