Govt Bans Construction Projects in Murree

Authorities have imposed a ban on all kinds of construction in Murree, including roads and other development projects.

According to a notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner, the restriction will remain in place for three months.

During this period, stone crushing, drilling, mining, and the transport of building materials will also not be allowed.

The notification further stated that no new factories, shops, or markets can be built during the ban.

Officials said the decision was made under the Murree Master Plan to protect the hill station and improve the environment for residents and tourists.
