Faisalabad Stadium Sells Out Ahead of Pakistan vs South Africa ODI Series

Faisalabad’s Iqbal Cricket Stadium is gearing up for the return of international cricket in grand fashion — and fans have responded in kind, ensuring a packed house awaits the Pakistan and South Africa players for the upcoming ODI series.

According to reports in local media, all available tickets for the three-match series between Pakistan and South Africa at Iqbal Stadium have been sold out.

These matches mark the first time Iqbal Stadium will host international cricket since 2008, when Pakistan played Bangladesh in an ODI. While the venue has hosted its fair share of domestic fixtures since then, it hasn’t welcomed international action in over 17 years. The PSL will also make its way to Faisalabad during Season 11, signaling the PCB’s intent to host regular matches at this historic venue in the future.

Tickets for all sections were snapped up within days of going on sale, a clear reflection of the city’s passion for the game and the excitement surrounding the national team’s return to Faisalabad.

With every seat expected to be filled, the stage is perfectly set for a Pakistan vs South Africa  ODI series that blends nostalgia, national pride, and the unmatched roar of a Pakistani crowd — this time at Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium.

Faisalabad, it seems, is ready to remind the cricketing world that when it comes to passion, no one does it quite like Pakistan.
