PIA Resumes London Flights From Another Major City

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is set to restart direct flights to London from Lahore, expanding its returning UK operations beyond the federal capital.

A PIA spokesperson said the first Lahore–London service, PK-757, will depart on March 30, with flights operating to London Heathrow Airport.

The airline has also confirmed it will use the Boeing 777 for its London operations from both Lahore and Islamabad.

The Lahore launch follows PIA’s earlier announcement that it is resuming direct London flights from Islamabad as well. Islamabad–London operations are scheduled to begin on March 29, with three weekly flights planned on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

From Lahore, the airline will initially operate one weekly flight, scheduled on Mondays starting March 30, taking the carrier’s total planned London frequency to a higher level as services ramp up.

PIA has indicated it will increase flights gradually, depending on demand and operational readiness. The resumption is expected to bring relief for travelers, particularly overseas Pakistanis in the UK, by restoring direct connectivity on one of the airline’s most historic international routes.
