The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government is moving to purchase two B7-level armored vehicles for judges of the Peshawar High Court, with the estimated cost of each vehicle ranging between Rs. 150 million and Rs. 200 million.
The provincial cabinet had earlier approved the procurement of armored vehicles for High Court judges, and the purchase process is now underway. A tender document uploaded on the official website of the Peshawar High Court invites bids for two vehicles with detailed specifications.
The deadline for submission is February 4, 2026. The vehicles will be included in the High Court’s official vehicle pool. Under existing rules, High Court judges are entitled to two official vehicles with engine capacity not exceeding 1,800cc.
With the addition of the two new armored vehicles, the older vehicle currently in use is expected to be retired from the official pool.
The Peshawar High Court’s Public Relations Officer confirmed that the vehicles will be pooled and used for official duties, including visits and court proceedings in sensitive districts. He added that the existing vehicles will be handed back to the government.
B7-level ballistic protection is the highest civilian standard and is designed to withstand armor-piercing rounds, grenade blasts, and underbody explosions. According to available information, the cost of a standard 2026 vehicle is around Rs. 120 million before armoring, with the price increasing significantly after B7-level modifications.

Unfortunately the tax money of the poor Nation is being spent on those people who’s performance is 0% who are controlled by FA Pass Duffers and millions of cases are still pending.
As a taxpayer I won’t allow my hard earned money is spent on the corrupt system and it’s beneficiaries like corrupt Generals Politicians Judges Bureaucrats Journalists
Here they are acquiring vehicles while Local Government Peshawar staff is surviving without salaries..never gonna vote for them again.
WHY BUY SUCH VEHICLE FOR JUDGES,THEY SHOULD BE TREATED AT PAR WITH NORMAL PUBLIC,!!!
Dude you idiot it’s because the judges could become targets for terrorists while they are doing their official duties like for example judging and handing out punishments to the terrorist and their accomplices
Society is often shaped by the injustices perpetrated by judges. If they feel threatened as a consequence of their own actions, that is a result of their conduct. It is difficult to comprehend what has gone wrong with the KP government in its protection of such corrupt and inhumane judges.
