Pakistani Fast Bowler Features in BBL Team of the Tournament

Melbourne Stars’ fiery speedster Haris Rauf becomes the only Pakistani player to be featured in 2025/26 Big Bash League (BBL 15) Team of the Tournament.

BBL 15 season saw a strong Pakistani presence, with several major names taking part across the tournament, including Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shadab Khan, Zaman Khan, and Hasan Ali. But when it came to delivering the most consistent impact, it was Haris Rauf who stood out from the pack.

The Pakistan speedster has been named in the BBL 15 Team of the Tournament, becoming the only Pakistani player to make the official XI for this season. Rauf earned the spot after finishing as the competition’s leading wicket-taker, grabbing 20 wickets in 11 matches for the Melbourne Stars.

His inclusion caps off an impressive campaign in which he regularly provided breakthroughs and kept things tight during key phases, often serving as the Stars’ go-to option when the game needed a momentum shift.

The official Team of the Tournament is led by David Warner as captain and features some of the season’s most influential performers across roles.
