Cedar College sealed their first-ever title in the University of Exeter presents Empower Super League (ESL) 2026, producing a commanding performance in the final to defeat Nixor College.
The tournament, held in Karachi, Pakistan, began on January 18, 2026 at the Al Nadi Al Burhani Sports Complex, with the final taking place on January 30, 2026.
A number of standout individual performances shaped the tournament, with the following awards announced after the final:
- Man of the Match: Ahmer Riaz Gaziani
- Batsman of the Tournament: Ahmer Riaz Gaziani
- Bowler of the Tournament: Muhammad Batla
- Player of the Tournament: Aashir Khan
A total of six schools featured in the 2026 edition:
- Nixor College
- Cedar College
- Heuser College
- The Lyceum
- Foundation Public School
- Sceptre College
All teams were represented by their respective head coaches. The Empower Super League format split the teams into two groups of three, with the group winners and runners-up progressing to the semi-finals.
Cedar’s emphatic title win capped off a strong campaign and marked a milestone moment for the school as they lifted the Empower Super League trophy for the first time.
