All relevant bank branches across Pakistan have been directed to assist Hajj pilgrims in completing Saudi visa biometrics to ensure smooth processing of Hajj travel formalities.
The decision was made during a meeting chaired by Secretary of Religious Affairs Dr. Sajid Mahmood Chohan to review ongoing Hajj arrangements.
Authorities agreed to increase awareness about the biometric requirement through the Pak Hajj App and instructed all stakeholders to provide effective guidance to pilgrims.
To further facilitate applicants, Tashir Centers will now operate from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm to provide biometric services. Biometric assistance desks will also be established at various Hajj directorates.
Dr. Chohan stressed that February 17 is the final deadline for completing Saudi visa biometrics, adding that no extension will be granted.
He urged remaining pilgrims to complete the process immediately, warning that Hajj visas cannot be issued without biometric verification.
Officials said the measures aim to ensure the timely completion of travel documentation and avoid last-minute complications for pilgrims.
