Sahibzada Farhan Joins New PSL Team for Rs. 5.70 Crore

Sialkot Stallionz have secured aggressive top-order batter Sahibzada Farhan for Rs. 5.70 crore in the ongoing 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) player auction at Lahore’s Expo Center.

Sahibzada Farhan attracted strong interest after consistent performances, especially for Pakistan at the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2026 in Sri Lanka and India where his attacking approach at the top and ability to score quickly in the powerplay made him a valuable T20 asset.

Sialkot are expected to utilize him as a frontline opener to provide early momentum and stability to their batting lineup.

The signing is part of a busy auction that has seen franchises invest heavily in proven local match-winners. Earlier, Rawalpindi picked up pace spearhead Naseem Shah for Rs. 8.65 crore to bolster their new-ball attack.

Meanwhile, Lahore Qalandars brought back Haris Rauf for Rs. 7.60 crore following his standout 2025/26 Big Bash League (BBL 15) campaign, where he finished among the leading wicket-takers and reinforced his reputation as a premier T20 fast bowler.

With teams rapidly finalizing their cores, PSL 11 is shaping up to feature some of the strongest local combinations assembled under the league’s new auction model.
