The Sindh School Education Department has issued directives regarding the management of book banks in government schools.
According to the instructions, students must return free textbooks after annual examinations, and the return of books should be recorded on their result cards.
Returned books will be safely stored in the school book bank. The guidelines apply to all students from primary to higher secondary levels.
District Education Officers (DEOs) have been instructed to submit detailed stock reports of their book banks, while regional directors will consolidate district-wise data and provide it to the education department.
These measures aim to ensure proper management of textbooks and maintain accurate inventory across all government schools in Sindh.
