Gold prices in Pakistan again declined on Monday, in line with losses in the international market.
The price of gold per tola decreased by Rs. 1,800 to reach Rs. 522,762, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). Now, the gold rate per tola in Pakistan is nearer to Rs. 500,000 than Rs. 5.5 lac last week.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs. 448,184, down by Rs. 1,543. On Saturday, the price per tola had reached Rs. 524,562 after a decline of Rs. 8,700 during the day.
The international rate of gold also decreased by $18, bringing it to $5,000 per ounce, with a premium of $20.
Silver rates also declined by Rs. 100 to Rs. 8,441 per tola.
