Engro Polymer and Chemicals Limited has announced a temporary shutdown of its plant for maintenance, in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
The company said its plant will undergo scheduled maintenance from April 28 to May 18, 2026, as part of routine operational requirements.
Engro Polymer, a listed chemical company established in 1997, is Pakistan’s only producer of polyvinyl chloride and a key supplier to construction, industrial, and manufacturing sectors.
The company operates a fully integrated chemical complex producing PVC and chlor alkali products, which are widely used in pipes, cables, packaging, and other industrial applications.
