A baby was born inside a moving Rescue 1122 ambulance in Rawalpindi while the mother was being shifted to the hospital.
The Rescue 1122 staff on duty handled the situation professionally and safely assisted with the delivery.
Thankfully, both the mother and the newborn baby are reported to be in good health. A Rescue official said that, due to the woman’s condition, the staff could not wait until reaching the hospital. They successfully carried out the delivery inside the ambulance.
Rescue officials further stated that after providing first aid on the spot, the mother and her baby were shifted to Benazir Bhutto Hospital for further treatment.
According to sources, both the mother and the baby are in stable condition as the doctors are keeping them under observation.
