Mobilink has overtaken its competitors to become the No.1 3G player in Pakistan after official figures were released by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA). Mobilink crossed the 6 million 3G subscriber mark during the 4th quarter of 2015.

I get the speed between 500kbps-700kbps on average when the signals are full. And they are full most of the time. I am happy with it

it does not even have proper 3g coverage in city area of Faisalabad. Zong here works best……..average download speed ranges from 800KBps to 1200KBps…. I get normal speed of 1.2-1.5MByte per second on Zong 3G

I wonder how Mobilink managed to grab so many 3G customers despite the fact that they have limited 3G coverage and poor speed. Zong has much better coverage and in terms of speed Zong is second to none.
Well this is not because of 3G. Mobilink had strong customer base already as compared with Zong or Telenor. So as soon as Mobilnik adding 3G equipment they are counting them 3G subscribers :D

Ok. Please take a screen shot of evo acharji connected to lte network. I have seen the device it supports lte, and upon unlocking u can use it with warid or zong 4g. But i suspect ptcl is using 4g.
No you can’t use it on Warid or zong because it uses 1900 mhz band not 1800 used by local 4g operators.

In Lahore, Warid 4G (4 to 8Mbps) and Telenor 3G (1 to 3Mbps) is not bad!
It is Pakistani 4G, whereas peak speed requirements for 4G service is at least 100 megabits per second :p, have seen Zong providing 54 mega bits per second myself. Still it doesn’t meet 4G standards. Providing signals through 4G equipment doesn’t make it 4G :D
It also depends on your phone to. Many phones don’t support 100 mb/s download. Check phone configurations too

ML can not add 1 M customer in one month, it seems they are cheating while counting accidental users or by using a very loose definition. There 3G services sucks and every one knows this.
These coverage issues can be resolved very easily by using new solutions. We use small cells or repeaters in America to fill coverage holes or coverage inside buildings.There are also some parameters which help to increase coverage like you can increases the power to increase coverage. 700 Band and 200 ft cell tower covers around 4-5 KM area and 1900-2100 Band covers half of 4-5 km. So you can imagine 700 band is the best for wireless companies.It saves you lot of towers and covers more population.
