Indian soap operas are famous for over-exaggerating scenarios and adding extra dramatic [read: absurd] effects. This will not be the first time that netizens slam such a show, and we’re guessing, it won’t be the last. Another clip from an Indian soap opera has gone viral on social media. And the public can’t help but react.
You might remember the famous Rasode Me Kon Tha meme. Yet another Indian soap opera is being bashed for overplaying it. A clip from the show Saath Nibhana Saathiya was turned into a song. And soon everyone was creating their own rendition. Let’s take a look:
Many have been extremely critical of the shows, and rightfully so. Have you seen how the ladies in these dramas go to bed?
Everything, from people coming back to life to the intensely gullible bahus, screams absurdity in these dramas. We’ve all seen or heard of at least one such Indian soap opera – whether it’s Kyun Ke Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi or the infamous Kasautii Zindagi Kay. We all know what you watched in the summer of 2005. Jokes aside, these dramas are extremely hard to watch – even if it’s one small clip of it.
Another Indian soap opera goes viral

Should Indians move to K-dramas?
Whut.
K-dramas are better. Just saying. They might be cheap, but at least they sometimes have fun choreography and do the best they can with their budgets.— A hanging Chad (@AhangingChad) January 21, 2021
