Huawei has geared up to launch another product in its Mate series. The upcoming Mate series flagship should be called Mate 11 but it turns out that the company has decided to name it Huawei Mate 20. It is expected to be launched in the third quarter of this year.
Huawei Mate 20 features the latest HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC which boosts up the performance and keeps the battery consumption to the minimum. It gets a crazy power efficiency on this chip, which has a 2.6GHz max clock speed. The chip is said to get a 20% performance boost while also being 40% more power efficient than the current-generation Kirin 970. Huawei Mate 20 runs on the new generation of android Pi operating system. By the time of Mate 20’s launch, the Pi operating system will be available to most of the devices.
The 6.53 inches screen with 2k resolution truly blows up the minds of its users. There is a tiny waterdrop notch at the top for the earpiece. The square camera at the back does make the Mate 20 look very different from the previous models. It has a combo of 12- megapixel + 16-megapixel + 8-megapixel main camera. The triple camera, obviously, occupies three of the corners, while the fourth one is for the dual-LED flash. While 24-megapixel of a front camera is also present to let you capture your best side.
Huawei Mate 20 houses 6 GB of RAM with 128 GB of internal storage. The memory can also be extended further up to 256 GB. The device is powered by non-removable 4000 mAh Li-Po battery. Due to lack of space at the front, the fingerprint scanner is placed at the back.
