More About Huawei P40 lite

Huawei P40 Lite price in Pakistan & specs:

Huawei P40 Lite price in Pakistan is Rs 52,999.00. There has been a couple of leaks and speculation regarding the upcoming Huawei p40 series. We have already seen information on its grapheme battery technology, punch hole front camera design, and kirin 990 G chipset. However, the latest rumors suggest that Huawei p40 lite may be the global version of the Nova six standard edition.

Not the first time Huawei will do something like this. Recall that the Huawei P30 Lite is the worldwide version of the Huawei Nova 4E. In the camera department, this smartphone will come with a quadrille camera set up. On the rear, it will have a 48 MP lens, 2 MP depth sensor, 2 MP macro, and 8MP super wide-angle-camera. For selfies, the smartphone and Dne will use a 16 MP sensor.

The phone will be equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. It will use a built-in 4200 mAh of battery, which will support 40-watts fast charging. According to the company, it can deliver up to 70% in just 30 minutes. So these are the things we know so far about the Huawei P40 Lite. Let’s have a look at more leaks and confirmations.

Design and Display:

Always Huawei releases three types of smartphones in one series; the main version, a pro version as well as a lighter version of these devices. The device may look a little familiar to both iPhone fans and people who know their Huawei phones. The front of the invention will have the punch-hole camera in the screen and a quad-camera rear array on the back. Well, this rear array is housed in a square block that looks very similar to those on the iPhone 11.

It aims to give you a small taste of the P40 series flagship features but at a more affordable price. In the hands, it will surely feel lighter than the P40 and P40 pro while still managing to keep a glass front and 3D curved glass back. It will look terrific honestly, though even very prone to fingerprints like most smartphones. It will have the same glaring gradient design as its siblings.

On the right, we’ll have the power and volume buttons that’ll be made of plastic. They’ll be clicky but quiet and easy to reach. Also, it’ll be kind of a bummer that they didn’t include that red power button like the P40. The secondary microphone and hybrid dual SIM tray will be present on top. The bottom will have the headphone jack, primary microphone, loudspeaker, and the USB type-c port.

Yes, you heard us right, type C port in a mid-range phone. Looking at the screen, you’ll have a 6.4 inch LCD screen,  with a resolution of 2312 by 1080. Also, like the P 400 and P 40 Pro, we thankfully will get a pretty minimal dewdrop notch that houses the selfie camera, Call speaker, and LED notification light. And while the P 40 lite screen is slightly bigger than the P 40s, the bezels, especially the chin, will be slightly bigger. The display will have good contrast with vibrant punchy colors, and it will get bright enough when you need it. As, it’s not an AMOLED screen, which would have been an excellent move for Huawei to include in this phone but it’ll suffice for content consumption and daily use.

Performance:

That is the Nova 6SE, and this is not surprising at all. Because it looks like Huawei will opt to rebrand the recently launched nova 6SE and sell that as a P40 lite in those markets where the P series traditionally gets a light model. Well, this isn’t surprising at all. Given the company’s usual strategy for selling the same phone under multiple countries with the change name. So, if this is true, then we already know all about the Huawei P40 Lite.

For software, the P40 Lite will have an android 9pie skin with emu i9. Emui i9 icons and interface isn’t for everyone, but it is what it is. By default, apps will be arranged in multiple home screens, but you can also get an app drawer via the settings. As for navigation, this can be tweaked in the settings as well; you’ll have the options of either the traditional three-button navigation or gesture-based controls for that full-screen experience.

Now under the hood, it will be carrying kirin 990 G chipset and 8 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of internal storage. That’s a pretty good offering for a mid-range device as you can surely expect smooth performance. The device will be able to handle even massive games. However, you can expect a few frame drops when using high graphics settings.

Meanwhile, facial recognition and fingerprint scanning will be relatively fast and accurate. Packing a 4200 mAh battery, it takes about one and a half hours to get the p40 lite fully charged. Nonetheless, the device can last almost a whole day if you are a moderate user.

Camera:

The cameras consist of a primary 48-megapixel snapper joined with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, 2-megapixel macro, and two-megapixel depth assist cameras. The selfie camera consists of 16-megapixel snapper, which is not bad at all.

Photos from the primary camera will come out impressive with good overall quality and accurate colors. Under natural lighting, photos will look even more stunning; however, the story might take a darker turn when we get to low-light conditions. Small details will be lost, the overall quality will be noisy and a bit muddy.
The ultra-wide camera photos will be useful as well; they’ll not be as impressive as the shots from the primary camera. However, details will still be sharp,

which is essential since you’re capturing more space. If we take a look at selfies, photos will come out pretty good with or without the AI beauty mode turned on. Although, as with Huawei phones, post-processing can be a little too much for some. There will also be a variety of bokeh options that will work nicely. The device can shoot up to 1080p at 60fps along with electronic image stabilization.

Overall the cameras are a powerful feature for this phone to stand out in the mid-range market. It’s not exactly a taste of what you can get with the flagship P40s, but they’re good for the price.

Final Verdict:

Let’s not forget; it could potentially make it a perfect budget device with the price point expected around. If we consider the price, the specs are decidedly okay. What do you think about this design, let us know your thoughts on that in the comments down below?
