More About Oppo K5

Oppo K5 price in Pakistan & specs:

Oppo K5 price in Pakistan is ‎Rs 48,999. The Oppo k5 a new mid-range phone from Oppo and looked very premium in the hands. The Oppo K5 is a reliable phone and a lite version of Reno X, which was released at the same time. Oppo has included a ton of specs on this phone. It starts with the Snapdragon 730 G; this is the upgrade to the Snapdragon 730. It’s an overclocked version, so you’re going to get slightly better performance.

It’s a quality chipset not just with the CPU but also the GPU. It’s also perfect when coming to image processing as well. Oppo has packed a quad camera setup in this phone, with a 64-megapixel primary sensor. Maybe, some of you will be possibly comparing this to the Redmi Note 8 pro and realme phones. Yes, it is going to be very similar to those, but the difference is the processor. The Oppo K5 a very classic Oppo design, although on this one, they’ve moved the Oppo logo to the right-hand side. Lets have a look at further specs.

Design and Display:

At the bottom, you’ll get USB-TypeC, headphone jack, and you get a mono speaker as well. On the right-hand side, you get the power button. The 64-megapixel quad-camera doesn’t stick out too much from the back, which is a good thing. On the left, the phone has volume rockers and a dual SIM card tray.
The screen on this one is 6.5 inches OLED display, and it is a definite upgrade over the previous mid-range phones from Oppo. When we first picked up the phone, we thought it was a model and not a real phone because the screen had this very matte look. It reminded us of a little bit of Samsung OLED panels. Viewing media, flicking through social media, or looking at photos on this panel is an excellent experience.

The notch at the top has been made smaller than previous versions, even though it is a notch or not a pop-up. It means you get a slimmer phone and this notch is so tiny, it’s almost irrelevant. Anyways, a small bezel at the bottom but nothing out of the ordinary. We would say it’s slightly lower than the Redmi Note eight pro, but the Note 8pro is a somewhat cheaper phone.

Performance and Battery:

The phone runs over color OS 8, and quite a few apps are pre-installed, but you can uninstall those if you don’t like them. The device runs on Android version 9 pie out of the box. The base variant comes with 6 gigabytes of RAM; hence it gets that 64gb of storage, and out of that 64gb of storage, you get 46.3 gigabytes.
You will also notice, we don’t have a physical fingerprint scanner on this because this has an in-display fingerprint scanner. The fingerprint scanner is excellent and fast. It’s nice to see that vendors are putting these fast in-display fingerprint scanners in budget phones.

We have seen a lot of devices with snapdragon 710 G, so again you shouldn’t have a problem. Oppo also says that they have put a thermal gel and graphite sheet on this to prevent heating. So it will be great for gamers; moreover, it will not overheat. They also have some game-centric stuff like game space, game assistant, and all those things.

Another great feature of this phone is they give you 30-watt fast charging on the 4000 milliamp-hour battery. That is an excellent spec and is in line with a lot of flagship phones.

Camera:

Let’s move on to the camera now; this is a very similar setup to what we’ve seen in the Redmi Note 8 Pro. You get the 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens; then you have a dedicated macro camera and a depth-sensor; so you can take portrait shots. It goes from 2 to 5 times zoom automatically on the little button in the middle there. We took some photos in artificial lighting conditions, and it does a pretty good job.

A good thing about this phone that we didn’t get in Oppo phones at the start of the year 2019 is video recording on the ultra-wide. You can do it on this one, and we are pleased about that. Photos are very typically what you get from Oppo phones, which are very crisp, sharp, and with the right colors.

Final Verdict:

In our opinion, that’s helped by the outstanding quality Snapdragon 730G processor. The quad-camera and the fast charging are fantastic at this price range. So what do you guys think about the Oppo K9, do let us know in the comment section below?
