Galaxy Note 9 has got more improved specifications than its previous models. The key feature is its chipset. It incorporates a 2.7GHz octa-core processor above the Snapdragon 845 chipset (or Exynos 9810 in some territories) which is considered to be the most powerful chip of the time. It has got two variants; the lower variant amongst them features a 6 GB of RAM which is coupled with 128 GB of internal memory while the higher variant has got a massive 8 GB of RAM which is bundled with 256 GB of in-house memory. If 128/512 GB does not satisfy your storage needs then you can extend it further up to 512GB via micro SD card. Galaxy Note 9 runs on the latest Android v8.1 Oreo operating system.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 comes up with a large 6.4-inch touchscreen with Super AMOLED display. For the ease of use, Galaxy Note 9 has a handy stylus in the box. The differentiating feature of Galaxy Note 9 is its dual 12-megapixel camera at the back with an adjustable aperture that is capable to switch between f/2.4 and f/1.5 aperture, which improves the quality of low light shots. It is capable of capturing the video in slow motion. It also has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera having an aperture of f/1.7. It also features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a great 4000 mAh battery.
The S-Pen has got some major improvements and is probably the most functional S-Pen ever. It houses a capacitor which charges up within 30 seconds, letting you use its new clicking features for 40 minutes. Even if it is not charged, the regular S-pen features still work normally.
It detects a short press, long press or double press on the button for different functions. It can be used with a camera, the short press acting as a camera shutter and a double press switching between front and back cameras.
It is now powered by Bluetooth LE (low energy), with a 10-meter range. It also gets the same IP 68 water and dust proofing as the phone (which is necessary, given the chargeable capacitor and Bluetooth in the new S-Pen), props to Samsung for that.
