Sony Xperia Z3 price in Pakistan is Rs. 28,999. Sony is probably the only major phone company that updates its flagship device two times a year.  Sony Xperia Z3 is quite similar to the last generation, but with a few upgrades. So we will be sharing some pros and cons and our overall experience from using this device. The design and the build quality is really unique and it looks very different from many other smartphones because pretty much all other smartphones are made out of plastic or aluminum. The Sony XperiaZ3 has two tempered glass panels on the front and the back, and a slightly curved metal band.

You can choose between four different colors; black, white, green and copper-gold. Although by design the phone looks a bit delicate, in reality, this phone is actually quite sturdy, moreover, it is also IP 68 certified meaning it is waterproof and dust resistant. Therefore all the ports are covered by flaps, so you can go underwater up to one meter and can stay up to thirty minutes. Things get really exciting from here because now you will be able to actually record underwater videos. On the side of the phone, you will see that there’s a dock connector so you can connect your device to a magnetic charging source such as a Sony dock or any third-party docks. Design:

Xperia Z3 is a massive design improvement over the Xperia Z2. It comes with the same shatterproof glass on the back and Gorilla Glass 3 on the front accompanied by the dual front-facing stereo speakers. 

The dual glass on the phone is held together by an aluminum frame with shock-resistant corners on all four sides to prevent damage in case of accidental drops. The phone does not look a tough one, but Sony made every effort to make it perform like one. The sides have a microSD card slot so if you run out of internal storage, you can insert a microSD card up to 128 gigabytes. Sony really improved the screen to have better viewing angles so viewing this device on any angle, looks equally fantastic.

This has a 1080p HD screen 5.2 inches at 424 pixels per inch so it’s quite similar to most other flagship Android devices with a 1080p HD screen. As the resolution is very high so there’s no need to worry about the clarity of the screen. Its IPS display is not as saturated as AMOLED displays but this offers very accurate color contrast and saturation. You can use this in direct sunlight due to a fairly high brightness level.

Camera:

Sony has launched the 20.7 MP with autofocus and ISO 12800 sensitivity rear camera, which is packed full with Sony’s famous cyber shot and Handycam technologies resulting in crisp, bright and sharp images. With award-winning G-lense and 25mm wide-angle lens, you will be able to take wide-angled shots precisely and accurately. The Xperia Z3’s unbelievable ISO 12800 sensitivity lets you capture great images in low light.

If you open up the camera application it’s going to go into auto mode and inside auto mode, it only shoots eight megapixels. So you have to go to manual mode to enable 20.7-megapixel images to shoot full-resolution photos. Images are very sharp and clear even when you zoom in, it’s still going to be quite sharp. Another great feature on the Xperia z3 is that this has a dedicated shutter button so you can actually hold on to this button, and this is going to act as a shortcut to the camera application. You can use this to focus and take pictures. The phone also comes with 4K video recording our times the detail of Full HD 1080p and Sony’s proprietary electronic image stabilization feature. In video mode, it doesn’t focus very quick so this can be quite annoying if you film close objects.

Processor:

This device is of course very high-end and has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, quad-core 2.5 gigahertz Adreno 330 GPU. This also has 3GB of RAM so running applications or running a bunch of applications at the same time will have no lag at all.  You can also run many intense graphic applications and video games without dropping frame rates, freezing or crashing. 

Now moving on to the software this device is running on android 4.4.4 KitKat. There are quite a bit of really useful software features, for example, the quick settings inside the notification bar, you can edit and add more toggles into this panel. This also has a nice multitasking app switcher, at the bottom you have the option to open up small windows of applications. 

Battery:

Overall Sony did a great job with the battery life on this device. Sony Xperia Z3 has a 3100 mAh power battery and will last a full day with moderate usage. You can enable more battery saving modes for example stamina ultra and stamina low battery mode and a few more.
