More About vivo iQOO Pro 5G
Vivo iQOO Pro 5G price in Pakistan & specs:
Vivo iQOO Pro 5G price in Pakistan is Rs. 89,999. It is the 5G variant; it comes in a beautiful box. It comes with a Snapdragon 855 Plus chip, so this is indeed a gaming phone. After opening the box, the first thing that you see is the cover and looks pretty attractive. It’s not one of those cheap silicon ones, we do prefer hard transparent cases, but this is not hard or transparent, though it is quite a nice-looking black finished case.
We have a cutout at the center because of the LED strip. We do indeed have a USB type A and type-c ports. That is cool, we like this whole idea, and it is indeed a 5 AMP cord. That is why we have this high-level grade cable because this means two outputs; 44 watts of charge and 11-watts. The charger in the Box is a 44-watt charging block. It comes packed with a 4500 milliampere battery. We get excited to see how that stacks up in a battery drain department as well as the battery charge department. So guys, let’s start with the review.
Design and Build:
The phone looks beautiful. The sides have a lovely textured red accent power button, which is impressive, it also feels premium, and many phones lack this these days. It’s nice to touch; we have the volume rocker, which is even-textured, and kind of defeats the purpose of having a textured power button since they both feel the same. But it feels cool; it is not the same color as the power button. We also have two triggers above the volume rockers, and we like how they are slightly indented from the side of the phone. The top of the device looks nice and neat, with an option for a 3.5-millimeter headphone jack,
which is essential when gaming. On the left, we do indeed have the AI button; this is cool for translating text, especially if you live in a different country, and this button is also textured. At the bottom, we do have our USB type-c port, it’s 2.0 speeds, and we have our single firing speaker. But knowing Vivo, the nice big chunky earpiece will certainly double up as a secondary stereo speaker since this is a gaming phone. The is a dual sim card slot with no option for a micro SD card. The lowest storage you can get is from 28 gigs, so that’s not the end of the world in that respect.
At the back of the phone, we have a beautiful Vivo IQOO logo, and we have that nice kind of arrow looking stripe at the end. It looks lovely and neat.
Display:
It has a beautiful 6.41 inch AMOLED display, it looks fabulous, there are very minimal bezels, though they are still noticeable there. With most gaming phones, we do have quite a thick top and bottom border with slim side bezels, and that is not the case here, because Vivo has adopted the teardrop notch cut out over the chin. The bottom isn’t as big as the IQOO that we recently reviewed.
Overall the phone feels pretty good; it doesn’t feel this thick that it is. It is indeed a 9.3 millimeters thick. It doesn’t feel that heavy, indeed not as heavy as the previous model.
The USB Type-A is excellent little addition that they have put in that. You guys can game comfortably with the charger plugged in, and headphones plugged in at the same time and keep gaming for those ultra-long sessions.
Vivo is the first company in the world to come up with an under-display fingerprint scanner. It has an optical one, not an ultrasonic one, so we do have a bit of a lens underneath there. It feels snappy, swift, and we are impressed with it. The face-unlock blew our minds away. We have never seen a look open like this one.
Camera:
Moving to the camera department, we have for the first time in a Vivo 48MP Sony IMX 586 sensor, with an aperture of F1.8. That is awesome to see, as not many gaming phones have three cameras. The secondary 13-megapixel ultra full sensor, which is cool and unfortunately we have a 2-megapixel depth sensor as a third lens
We said, sadly, because that would have been awesome if that was a telephoto lens. On the front, we have the same 12-megapixel selfie camera, that we had on the previous Vivo IQOO, no changes over there.
The pictures look nice and crisp, and we must say the images were stunning when taken from a 48MP camera. When it comes to the ultra-wide, since it has a lower resolution count, so the pictures are not as sharp. Though on such a small screen you’re not going to notice much of a difference and we think it does a pretty superb job here. If we talk about the bokeh shots, things look even more polished than an original picture taken on the phone. That is because the 48-megapixel IMAX 586 sensor is now officially paired with a 2-megapixel depth sensor to give it an even better dip surfing perspective, and it looks great then.
When it comes to the selfie Department, the images look beautiful, clear, and crisp. And coming into portrait mode, we’re using that selfie cam; we couldn’t see any edge detection there at all.
Gaming:
With a 6.41 inch AMOLED display, with more than decent brightness, we have captive triggers on the right and left side of the phone when in landscape mode for gaming. We do also have a beautiful monster mode, which should boost things up quite a bit when it comes to the gaming departments.
We have 8GB of RAMgoing up to 12 gigs of RAM. We have the latest and greatest Snapdragon 855 Plus processing chip, which is said to increase CPU performance by four percent and GPU performance by 15 percent. We have a whopping 4500 mAH battery in here, nice little touches such as the charging cable and the headphone jack that come with it are both downward sloping. So it makes things beautiful and comfortable for those ultra-long gaming sessions. We also have that crazy fast 44-Watts charging capabilities, and yes, we do indeed get a block paired out of the Box itself.
Final Verdict:
This phone is an absolute monster, and we cannot wait to get using it every day as our gaming phone. Let us know what you guys think of this lighting strategy over the back as opposed to other LED RGB effects that you have seen on other gaming phones. As of recent times, we think this looks nice, simple, and elegant. If you ask us guys, the Vivo IQOO Pro is one fantastic phone; it ticks all the right boxes when it comes to high-end specs for a well-priced device.
