Xiaomi Launches Redmi 8 With 5,000 mAh Battery & Dual Cameras for $112

Redmi 8, the successor to the fan-favorite Redmi 7 has been launched two weeks after the launch of Redmi 8A in India. The smartphone was teased quite a few times by the company’s General Manager Lu Weibing and Redmi India’s head Manu Kumar Jain.

Redmi 8 was also listed on TENAA last week with all its specifications but was officially launched in India today and looks pretty much like the recently launched 8A with improved internals.

Design and Display

Xiaomi Redmi 8 comes with a glass body featuring the company’s new Aura design. At the back, the dual-sensor camera is vertically aligned in the center on top of the fingerprint reader. It will come in Sapphire Blue, Onyx Black, and Ruby Red colors.
