Afridi has been impressed with Shaheen Afridi and Wahab Riaz and their ability to pick up wickets at crucial moments. He added that there is still room for improvement in Pakistan’s batting but there is enormous potential waiting to be unlocked.

Shaheen Afridi has had a stellar year in limited-overs cricket. He became the leading wicket-taker in T20s this year with 44 wickets to his name. He also holds the record for most wickets by a Pakistani after the first 20 ODI matches. Shaheen took five wickets in the first ODI becoming only the second bowler in the world after Waqar Younis to pick up 15 wickets in 3 matches.

Wahab Riaz, on the other hand, used his experience brilliantly in the first ODI, taking 4 wickets for 49 runs and helping Pakistan to victory.
