Pakistan Head Coach, Misbah-ul-Haq, has told New Zealand to be wary of Pakistan’s pace attack. Misbah said that Pakistan has 3 or 4 bowlers that can bowl in excess of 150 kph and they have the ability to cause trouble to any batting lineup in the world.

Misbah said that New Zealand has an upper hand at the moment because they are playing at home, They are accustomed to the grounds and the pitches and are already playing international cricket. He said that like any team in the world, they are strong at home, but Pakistan has all the tools to hurt them at their home grounds.
Misbah added that although New Zealand has the services of Lockie Ferguson who bowls fast, Pakistan has the likes of Wahab Riaz, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Hasnain and Musa Khan who can bowl equally fast. Even Shaheen Afridi bowls around 145kph when in rhythm, he added.

Misbah appreciated the mental strength shown by the squad members after spending 14 days in isolation and applauded the efforts made by them in the practice sessions. He said that youngsters such as Khushdil Shah, Haider Ali, Danish Aziz and Hussain Talat have been impressive and are improving day by day.
Lastly, Misbah was impressed with how Babar has taken the responsibility of the captaincy of the team. He said that Babar has led from the front and has dealt with the pressure of captaincy by scoring big runs. He said that they both enjoy a great relationship and Babar will further learn the art of captaincy as he gains more experience.
