Imran’s performances for Pakistan with both the bat and the ball have been remarkable. He was influential as captain and went onto win Pakistan’s first and only World Cup title in 1992 against all odds.
Before being made the captain, he averaged 25.43 with the bat and 25.53 with the ball. Ever since he was made the captain, his batting average went up to 52.34 with the bat and 20.26 with the ball.
His impact, both on and off the field, for Pakistan cricket has been widely documented and he proved to be a role model for the young and upcoming cricketers at that time.
Unbelievable! It’s great even though India has 5 times more population than Pakistan.
Ma sha Allah, Excellent, I agreed with already given remark. It is amazing that Virat could not get votes although he had an edge of huge population of India, and our hero Imran Khan got surprisingly secured more vote even there is approximately five times less population of Pakistan. Thumbs up for IK and hope for the best for all walk of life.
