PCB Signs Another Broadcast Deal With Sony Networks India

Sony Network Pictures (SNP) has signed a broadcasting deal with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to telecast all of Pakistan’s home matches and the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for the next three years. PCB has signed multiple high-profile broadcasting deals with various channels across the globe to telecast Pakistan’s matches as well.

PCB CEO, Wasim Khan, announced the deal and said that the fans in South Asia will be able to watch the Pakistan cricket team in action and follow them closely.

“The PCB welcomes Sony Pictures Networks India to its list of elite broadcasters who will have rights to Pakistan’s bilateral series and PSL 2021-23. Through this partnership, cricket fans in South Asia will be able to follow and enjoy high-quality cricket action in Pakistan across all formats featuring some of the finest modern-day stars,” Khan said.

SNP will telecast the upcoming series between Pakistan and South Africa, scheduled to begin on Tuesday. PSL 2021 set to begin from 20 February will also be broadcasted live on the network.

PCB has also signed deals with Sky Sports, Willow TV, Flow Sports, and SKY NZ to telecast matches in various regions around the world. Further negotiations with broadcasters in Australia and the Middle East are currently ongoing, details of which will be revealed soon.

Pakistan is set to host top international nations in the next few years. England cricket team has already confirmed their tour in October, meanwhile, Pakistan is hopeful to host Australia and New Zealand next year.C
