However, Japan mounted a spirited response, with Raiki Fujishima pulling one back before the half-time whistle. His goal revived Japan’s hopes, creating an intense atmosphere as the teams headed into the break with Pakistan holding a slim 2-1 lead.
The second half saw both teams battling for control, but Pakistan’s defense remained resolute, repelling several Japanese attacks. Despite Japan’s efforts to find an equalizer, Pakistan held on, securing the much-needed win.
