Iron Survivor Qualifier: Ethan Page Advances
Ethan Page, a former WWE NXT Champion, secured his spot at Deadline by defeating Axiom in a thrilling Iron Survivor Challenge qualifier. The match showcased Axiom’s high-flying prowess, including a breathtaking Super Spanish Fly, but Page’s experience and strategic targeting of Axiom’s back proved decisive. A well-timed lariat allowed Page to counter Axiom’s Golden Ratio and claim victory.
Lola Vice Overcomes Wren Sinclair
In a heated encounter, Wren Sinclair faced the wrath of Lola Vice. Sinclair’s technical skills initially gave her an edge, but hesitation in exploiting an opportunity allowed Vice to capitalize. A sudden Spinning Backfist from Vice knocked Sinclair out, securing the win for Vice.
‘The Don’ is Still Your WWE NXT North American Champion
Despite battling an injury, Tony D’Angelo successfully defended his North American Championship against Shawn Spears. Spears targeted D’Angelo’s injured knee, applying a Figure Four Leg Lock to exacerbate the damage. However, D’Angelo’s resilience shone through as he delivered a powerful Spinebuster to retain his title.
‘The Beautiful Madness’ is Going to Deadline
Giulia earned her place in the Women’s Iron Survivor Match at Deadline by defeating Kelani Jordan. The match was a showcase of skill and determination, with both competitors pushing each other to the limit. Giulia’s brutal knee strike followed by a Northern Lights Bomb secured her victory.
Tatum Paxley Gets An Unlikely Ally
Fallon Henley successfully defended her NXT Women’s North American Championship against Tatum Paxley, thanks in part to the interference of Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx.
Despite Paxley’s valiant effort and a near victory with a Psycho Trap, Jayne’s distraction allowed Henley to hit a Famouser and retain her title. Post-match, Gigi Dolin made a surprise return from injury, aiding Paxley and taking out Henley’s allies.
