Bangladeshi batsman and Karachi Kings star Litton Das has been ruled out of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) X after sustaining an injury during a practice session. The talented cricketer has returned to Bangladesh for further assessment and treatment, leaving his team.
Das, renowned for his aggressive batting style, was poised to play a pivotal role for Karachi Kings in PSL X. His unexpected departure is a significant blow to the team, which must now adjust its strategy and batting lineup to compensate for his absence.
The injury occurred during a routine practice session, though specifics regarding its nature have not been disclosed. The Bangladesh cricketer posted on Facebook:
Hope you all are well. I was truly excited to play in the PSL for Karachi Kings, but the Almighty had other plans. During a practice session, I picked up a finger injury. Scans revealed a hairline fracture, and recovery will take at least 2 weeks. So sadly, my PSL mission is over before it even began. I’m flying back to Bangladesh and seeking your prayers & love for a quick recovery. Wishing the very best of luck to my team Karachi Kings.
With PSL X already underway, Karachi Kings face the urgent task of identifying a suitable replacement. The team management is actively evaluating options to fill the void left by Das, aiming to maintain their competitive standing in the league.
