PSL X Points Table Update After Gladiators Crush Zalmi

Quetta Gladiators flexed their title credentials in a major way with a comfortable win over Peshawar Zalmi, storming to the top of the PSL X points table. Their 80-run victory lays down a marker for other teams and makes a significant early statement in this year’s competition.

Sent in to bat first, Quetta Gladiators posted a formidable total of 216 for 3 in their allotted 20 overs. Saud Shakeel, Hasan Nawaz, and Finn Allen all contributed runs before Kusal Mendis finished things off for his team with a quick knock.

In response, Peshawar Zalmi’s chase fell short by quite a margin, as only Saim Ayub, Hussain Talat, and Mitchell Owen managed to test the Gladiators’ bowling lineup, which was led by Abrar Ahmed (4/42) and Usman Tariq (2/26), with Mohammad Amir chipping in with two wickets of his own.
