Dubai Introduces New Minimum Taxi Fare

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has revised taxi fares across Dubai for rides booked through RTA-licensed smart apps, raising the base fare and introducing new peak-hour charges.

Under the updated tariff, the minimum fare has increased from Dh12 to Dh13. The RTA has also rolled out a structured peak-hour pricing system with variable booking fees depending on the day and time.
