The launch of Blackberry Ghost is heading closer. It is expected that the company will unveil its latest phone in the second quarter of the year. There are a lot of rumors circulating in the smartphone market. According to the rumors, it will be running on the BlackBerry’s latest variant of Android for better performance.
The leaks suggest the Blackberry Ghost will be featuring an edge-to-edge screen and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It will be offering an expanded display experience hence minimizing the bezels on its sides. According to the leaked image, the fingerprint scanner cannot be seen at the front so we can make a guess that it may come up with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner or it may feature an under display fingerprint scanner.
There is not much information available regarding its specifications and launch date, however, it is expected to be a mid-range smartphone. The device is actually manufactured by the Indian company Optiemus that acquired the license to develop and sell BlackBerry products in India but in most probability, the device will make its way outside India as well.
